Central Alum, Orville D. Menard ’51, has produced this remarkable history of Central High School.  It follows Central from 1900-2009 and includes facts about the building before it was a school as well as the many face of CHS after becoming a school.  Even back in 1897 overcrowding and inadequate ventilation were challenges.  The Monument in Stone includes are many pictures.  Click to Read Full Monument in Stone
