Conversation Pit →  May 17, 2012

This reverse version of 70s era conversation pit briefly stood in the east lobby.  For many years a replica of the Liberty Bell, donated by Brandeis department store, occupied the space.  Made of paper maché, the bell disintegrated, the reverse pit replaced it.  The reverse pit was removed in the early ’80s.
